WHY NATURAL?
What is natural wine?
Natural wine doesn’t have an official rulebook, but most agree on the basics: the grapes are farmed organically — no chemical sprays — and the wine is made with as little tinkering as possible. Wild yeasts kick off the fermentation, nothing extra is added or taken away, and the wine is usually unfiltered, with only tiny amounts of sulphites, if any.
Why drink it?
Because it’s real, vibrant, and true to the place it’s from. Every bottle is a bit different, full of life and character. Many people love how fresh it tastes - and some say it tastes brighter, feels better, and is easier on the head the next day.

Think you know Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, or Reisling? Think again.
If you usually grab the familiar big-name wines down the road, you’re in for a treat here. The natural white wines we source come from passionate growers who use traditional, chemical-free methods to bring out bright, fresh flavours and lively acidity you won’t find in mass-produced bottles. They’re vibrant, crisp, and full of character - none of that heavy, dull taste or harsh aftertaste. Each glass feels lighter and more refreshing, with a true sense of the place it’s from.
Trust us — once you try natural, your usual white won’t feel quite the same.

Already fallen for the lift and freshness of natural whites? Wait till you see what happens when you go red.
These reds break away from the heavy, syrupy bottles you might be used to. Instead, they’re lighter and brighter - perfect for long evenings and good company. You’ll taste pure, juicy fruit - think wild berries, dark cherries, sometimes even a little earthy funk - all brought to life by growers who farm with care and keep their hands off in the cellar.
Tannins - that drying, grippy feel you get on your gums with many reds - are far softer and smoother here, giving structure without weighing things down. The result? Reds that feel alive, easy to drink, and never clumsy or harsh.
ORANGE
Orange wine is one of our best-sellers at Marv’s - we pour loads of it for good reason!
Despite the name, it’s not made from oranges: it’s actually white wine made like a red. The trick? Leaving the grape skins in during fermentation. Those skins give it that amber hue, more texture, and a gentle tannic grip you don’t get in your usual whites.
Think bolder flavours - dried apricot, spice, a touch of earthiness - and a slightly rustic edge that makes each sip more interesting than the last. If you like to try something a bit different, orange is where to start - no wonder we can’t keep it on the shelves!
SPARKLING
Sparkling’s having a moment here at Marv’s - from crisp Prosecco to funky Pet Nat, there’s always something popping.
Prosecco you probably know: light, easy-going bubbles, fresh orchard fruit flavours - the perfect first glass (or second, or third).
Pet Nat, short for Pétillant Naturel, is like Champagne’s wilder, older cousin. It’s made using one of the original ways to get bubbles in wine - the wine finishes fermenting in the bottle, trapping natural fizz inside. No added sugar, no heavy processing - just raw, hazy bubbles that are softer than Champagne but way more playful. Expect flavours from crisp apple and citrus to a touch of funk and a gentle cloudiness that keeps things interesting.
If you like your bubbles with a bit more character, Pet Nat’s the one to try.
